Leaf Recycling Center

The City of Roseville maintains a leaf recycling center on the east side of Dale Street, just south of County Road C, where Roseville residents may drop off leaves.  The site is open for walk up service year-round.  For approximately one month during the spring and fall, the gates are open to enable residents to drive up to unload leaves.

All bags must be emptied and taken away.  This includes biodegradable bags, as the compost piles don’t get hot enough to break them down.

REGULATIONS

Only leaves are accepted at this site. Per City Code, no dumping allowed.

Any person violating any provision of the City Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000, or by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both, or any different amounts adopted by statute. In either case the costs of prosecution may be added [1]. (Ord. 1067, 9-25-89; amd. 1995 Code)

Other Yard Waste

Grass clippings and other yard waste can be taken to a Ramsey County Yard Waste Compost site.
