Kicker Sport Series
June 20 - August 6*
Registration Deadline: June 15
We are excited to offer Kicker/Slugger programs! Please see the documents below for information on program safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic,* in order to provide for social distancing in Kicker/Slugger programs, we have devised a program plan for parent/participant pairs for 3 year old and 4-5 year old programs. This is to safely engage together (with an staff guidance) in the program’s activities. The sports equipment and other items used for each activity will be cleaned between programs.
*Please note: all summer program plans are tentative and may be adjusted to reflect additional guidance from federal, state, or City of Roseville officials.
The Roseville Parks and Recreation Sports Series focuses on sport fundamentals with an emphasis on fun. Kicker and Slugger is a six week progression program consisting of practices and skill development. We start participants at a young age and introduce them to sport basics and progress fundamentally with each age level along with advancing skill development. Each week highlights a new skill. Each participants will receive a Roseville Parks and Recreation team t-shirt.
There are a variety of program options: one or two days a week, daytime or evening and Saturday morning; all to accommodate your summer schedule. Sport programs will not be scheduled June 29-July 4. Weather make-ups will take place the week of August 8-13.
Participants are expected to meet the minimum age stated in program description by July 1.
